I started playing the piano at 9 and almost immediately wrote my first few songs. I have an old tape of those recordings, very funny stuff. I might share it one day. Born and raised in Madrid, family travels took me to Hong Kong and then London. We moved back to Spain in 1996 where I teamed up with my brothers and a cousin to form a teenage band. The stuff of dreams and nightmares.
Soon it was evident through musical development and family support that music would take up the largest part of my life. After a mixture of anticlimax gigs and plenty of “what could have been” situations half way through University, I was offered a scholarship to go to the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.
In Liverpool I mingled with great musicians, sound engineers, managers, tutors, studios, and further developed my musical aspirations. The “scouse” take on life and the buzzing music life in Liverpool served as precious experience involved in tours, events, awards as well as regular gigs with my trio band “El Triangulo”.

In late 2005 I went to Brazil to visit my brother who was living in Sao Paulo. And so “Pitinga” was born in the beaches of Porto Seguro… The album, however, was recorded both at the Sennheiser and George Martin
Studios in LIPA, Liverpool.

I moved south to London again in 2006, and started playing regularly in and around the London area in venues such as The Bedford, The Cobden Club, The Original Songwriters, the Marquee, or the Fiddler´s Elbow. For the past year I’ve been involved with the Bryn Christopher band as keyboard player supporting Amy Winehouse in her UK tour, as well as touring other parts of the UK. This has given me more experience as a session musician adding to other tours with main Spanish acts such as Javier Ruibal or Los Limones.
Right now I’m working hard and looking forward to pushing my music and songs further, whilst getting stuck in the bustling London music scene.
